Hello again dear I am from :iconbeaute-lamour: and I am here to provide you with the critique you requested, remember all critiques are subjective and I hope that this helps you in the future.

Okay to start I really like how you blended your stocks, each is cropped very well and so no choppy edges that distract from the composition of the piece. I really love the whole theme of the piece, I love the jungle and exotic feel, I think you did a great job in selecting the stocks for the pieces as well. And the way you placed the elements or stocks really helped give the pieces a overall nice composition. Your color scheme is what I believe makes this piece so so strong. If one would see the theme they would believe maybe a green like color scheme but the fact that you chose a monochromatic blue palette, adds this old world mystic feel to the artwork, which compliments the title and concept so well.

The mist also is done very well not to heavy and not to light, I am able to see everything clearly and make out all the stocks and elements of the piece. This artwork is very atmospheric and the textures you used add nice contrast between the different stocks and it also allows the the viewers eyes to move around the art piece very nicely.

My suggestions for this artwork is I believe it would have more impact if you add more contrast. The highlights are lovely and your light source is clear but it is hard to make out some of the stocks you used in your artwork because of the lack of contrast. Like the bird I didn't really realize was there until I starred a little long and checked the stocks links, the birds wings blend a little into the dark background, so maybe lightening the bird a little would help and also adding a little shadows to the mirror with the violin can help add contrast or maybe making the background slightly darker from the rest of the piece in the area that the mirror is located can actually help create a stronger focal point.

Furthermore I think the model has great contrast and my eyes are immediately drawn to her as the focal point because of this but the way you position the elements makes me think you perhaps wanted the violin to be the focal point. I think it would work well as the focal because the model is staring at it and the bird is leaning in the same direction as the piece so all the elements are pointing to the violin but I feel like it should stand out more so darker shadows may help it to be a stronger focal point.

I think this piece is beautiful and the color scheme looks amazing. I love the theme and the atmosphere in your piece. I suggest when doing monochromatic color schemes is to try to make the focal point stand out more and adding a bit more contrast because the thing to watch with these color schemes is they have great harmony and balance with the colors but because it is a one color, color scheme it tends to have less contrast so that’s why paying attention to values is something to watch out for . But amazing piece and beautiful artistry and I hope this helped :)
